This is a short tour in Bwindi and Lake Mburo national parks, for travelers looking for interesting wildlife, cultural and gorilla experiences combined in one simple package. The tour begins and ends in Entebbe international airport.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo N/park

Airports pick up by a guide from Bugoli adventures who will transfer you to Lake Mburo national park. This national park is located in western Uganda in Kiruhura, Mbarara and Isingiro districts. It is a 4 hours’ drive, about 236 km via Masaka Mbarara road. Have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for photographs and proceed with the journey to Lake Mburo national park.
Arrive in time for lunch and prepare for an evening boat cruise on the lake. View beautiful wildlife species such as the impala, zebras and other mammals as you relax on this cruise. After, return for dinner and a sleep over at the checked in lodge.

Day 2: Game drive, transfer to Bwindi

Wake up early for breakfast and prepare for a morning game drive in the park. On this game drive, you will view wildlife species such as jackals, leopards, zebras, impala, Topi, buffaloes, warthogs among others.

After this experience, you will have a road transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park for a primate experience. This park is located in south western Uganda between Kabale, Kanungu and Kisoro districts, your transfer will be to Rushaga sector, the southern sector of Bwindi. Arrive in time to check in at the lodge. Relax and chill as you wait for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Bwindi forest - Gorilla trekking

Rise up early for an ultimate gorilla experience in the jungle. Begin with a briefing at the park’s headquarters about the do’s and don’ts’s while trekking the lovely primates. You will trek one gorilla family allocated by the warden depending your physical ability and health.

Encounter a gorilla family in its natural home and witness how they play, rest, feed and wrestle against each other. Spend one hour interacting while taking pictures and videos of the mountain gorillas. After retire to your lodge for an overnight and supper.

Day 4: Depart back to Kampala

After breakfast, prepare for a check out from your lodge and drive back to Kampala / Entebbe international park for departure or an overnight city.
